Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has shared that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad after the controversy from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and stating his relationship with manager had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the player.

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
The team's performance have been impressive in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games.”
