The national leader called on America to stay receptive to supplying Kyiv with far-reaching military equipment. Appealing to European leaders from the Pokrovsk area, the national leader also demanded more western sanctions on the federation – including on fuel and power segments – and said he desired European Union membership by the end of the 2020s.

The Italian foreign minister stated that the nation would maintain its international position or its principles in reaction to irresponsible comments. The Moscow's representation later expressed sympathy for the passing of a Romanian worker in the accident but seized the moment to protest that the angry response to the statements was biased against Russia.
